Every week on The Gameological Society, Derrick Sanskrit looks back at a particularly kickass track from the annals of game music. We call it Game That Tune, and Derrick illustrates each one with a puckish, beautiful take on the famous iPod “dancer” ads. They are awesome, and Derrick is awesome. Check out this week’s Game That Tune, in which Derrick rhapsodizes over a Battletoads track. And check out Derrick’s Tumblr, too.
I really don’t think this is the triforce I was looking for…

You don’t really know that person do you. No, you’re friends and all but you don’t really know them. You don’t know what he thinks or how he really feels. As you stare and ponder this though he catchs you stareing, and he smiles. Not really sure what to do you smile back. Now as the day goes on you don’t think anything of the encounter, but think a moment about what he felt. Little did you know that deep down that friend you have loves you. Thay smile you gave him today stopped him from hurting himself that night. You wonder how that could have helped him so much. Its simple, the fact that you even took the time to look at him made his whole life better.
Imagine another situation. You date a guy that you’ve been friends with for quiet some time, but you just don’t see it working out. You could still date, you just don’t see enough time in the day. So you tell him its over, he doesn’t want it to be over but he cant fight it. So feeling like you could make it better, you make the worst mistake, “we can still be friends”. The talking stops and you don’t here from eachother for a while. He’ll try and talk every once in a while but you don’t wanna hurt him again. Then think, what dose he feel. Right now that boy is curled up every night in bed, beside himself, doesn’t know where to go from there, dosent know what to do next. And just as that smile can lift up his world so to l could talking to you. But you don’t you thought it best to try and leave it alone so he can get over you. You thought youd help but you really hurt, all he thinks about every night is you and what you two had together, tears rollbdown his face, blood dripsb don’t his arm.
The point here is you really cant know what people are feeling. Theres no real way for you to know there true thoughts.
When you have real feelings for someone its something you will always treasure. It makes you the happiest man alive until its pulled out from under you. Then itll leave a scar on your heart that can never truly disappeare. You have to carry it around. Who knows it could change your whole personality. You just need to try and see things from someone elses point of view to try and stop a little of the heartbreak……..
